Acceptable use policy
There is not much here to misuse — a page and a form. This policy says what counts as misuse anyway, and how to tell us if you find a way in.

What this covers
This policy applies to everyone who uses this website, including its early-access form. It forms part of our terms of service.
What you must not do
Do not:
- submit an email address that is not yours, or that you have no permission to use;
- submit the form repeatedly, automatically, or in volume, whether to skew our numbers or to use us to send mail to someone else;
- submit anything unlawful, abusive, or deliberately misleading through any field on this site;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any account or system connected to it;
- probe, scan, or test the security of the site except as set out under “Reporting a security issue” below;
- deliberately interfere with the site’s availability or performance, or attempt to overwhelm it;
- copy the site or substantial parts of it, or harvest its content systematically for republication;
- introduce malware, or use the site to distribute it;
- impersonate us, or misrepresent your connection with us.
Automated access
Search engine crawlers are welcome, within the limits set by robots.txt. Other automated access should be reasonable in rate and honest about who it is. Scraping the site aggressively enough to affect it for other people is interference, and is covered by the section above.
Reporting a security issue
If you find a vulnerability in this site, please tell us at support@hudson.app before telling anyone else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and follows the limits below.
Those limits are:
- do not access, modify, or delete data belonging to anyone else — if you can reach it, stop and tell us;
- do not run denial-of-service tests, or anything that degrades the site for other people;
- do not use social engineering, phishing, or physical attacks against us or our providers;
- do not run automated scanners at a rate that would count as interference;
- do not publish the issue until it is fixed, or we have agreed a date with you.
We do not run a paid bug bounty. We will thank you properly, and credit you if you would like that.
What happens if you break this policy
Depending on what happened, we may block your access, remove an address from the early-access list, keep a record of the activity, or report it to the relevant authorities. Where the behaviour is serious enough, we may do all four.
Reporting misuse
To report anyone misusing this site — including someone who has added your address to our list without asking — write to support@hudson.app and we will deal with it.
