Cookie policy

We do not set cookies on this site — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences, and not for “strictly necessary” purposes either, because there is nothing here that needs one. There is no account, no basket, and no session to remember.

We also do not use the near-equivalents: no local storage identifiers, no session storage, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, and no third-party advertising or social scripts of any kind.

You can check this yourself. Open your browser’s developer tools, look under storage, and you should find nothing belonging to this domain.

Cookie banners exist because EU law — the ePrivacy Directive, as implemented in Estonia by the Electronic Communications Act — requires consent before storing or accessing information on your device, other than where it is strictly necessary. We do not store or access anything on your device, so no consent is required, and a banner asking for it would be theatre.

We do want to know whether anyone is reading this page. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without a persistent identifier. It records the page, the referring site, an approximate country, and a broad device and browser type, and turns them into counts.

It does not follow you between websites, does not build a profile, and does not give us a way to work out that two visits came from the same person on different days. We see numbers, not people.

Our privacy policy explains the lawful basis for that measurement.

If we ever add something that needs a cookie, we will list it here — what it is called, what it is for, and how long it lasts — and, unless it is strictly necessary, we will ask you before setting it. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
